In 1996, Dr. Gary Kompothecras, D.C., known as Dr. Gary, launched one of the first multi-disciplinary medical clinics to aid persons injured in automotive accidents. He wished to provide an integrative approach to his patient's requirements and aid their recovery. To provide patients with consistent quality care, The Physician's Group, LLC employs M.D.s, D.O.s, Orthopedic Surgeons, Neurosurgeons, Radiologists, Physician's Assistants, DCs, Nurse Practitioners, and Massage Therapists.

Dr. Gary enhanced the practice's capabilities by introducing technologically advanced medical equipment that may diagnose injuries previously undetectable by standard physical examinations. Patients no longer have to settle a claim based on a broad diagnosis of soft tissue injury. He also modified the technique to give an efficient and cost-effective means of treating auto accident victims, which is crucial for patients who do not have health insurance and must rely on Florida's no-fault auto insurance, which pays benefits of $10,000.

On the other hand, Dr. Gary discovered through repeated talks with his patients that they needed to be more informed about the healthcare benefits of no-fault automobile insurance. Many accident victims were suffering unnecessarily and were not seeking medical attention. This insight inspired the 1-800-ASK-GARY (1-866-939-4794) accident helpline, meant to inform accident victims of their rights and allow them free access to consulting with a doctor and attorney.

Over the last decade, more than 200,000 people have phoned 1-800-ASK-GARY to assist with traffic accidents and injuries.

The Joint Commission has acknowledged Gary Kompothecras dedication to providing outstanding care on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations, currently known as the Joint Commission. This accreditation is the gold standard for excellence in the healthcare business.
